Tweed's Argyle Oil and the treatment of Tourettes...

Stockhouse was down this morning and I posted this on Reddit Weed Stocks. 

Turns out Argyle oil from Tweed eliminates/vastly reduces the Tourettes ticks of a little 10 year old boy that has moved in with me since September 2017.

I will be following up with Jordan Sinclair at Canopy to see if I should reach out to Dr. Mark Ware or someone else to inform of this.  His Tourette's doctor is being informed immediately. 

Tourette's Canada has already been informed. 

If his Mother lets me I am going to make a Charlotte's Web story out of this.  I'm going to use some of the money I've made in this industry to push hard for insurance coverage’s for cases like this as well as to let other Tourette suffers know that cannabinoids may be a great alternative to them as compared to the harsh anti psychotics that are typically prescribed and which are largely ineffective for this condition.

I have been living with a 10 year old boy suffering from autism and Tourettes since Sept. 2017.

He is entering puberty and his Tourettes ticks are getting so bad that his mother allowed me to try Argyle oil gel capsules (Tweed) to see if it would control the ticks better than the crazy strong anti psychotic meds they give to kids to try and control these things.

He has been receiving about 10mg of THC and 15mg of CBD a day delivered in the morning, after school and before sleep. His ticks were almost nonexistent after 2 days on cannabis.

We took him off cannabinoids to see if they would return. Sure enough the first day off cannabis they returned in a mild form and by day 2 they were just as bad as ever. So we gave him the cannabis gel caps again and voila the ticks are gone. And these ticks are bad. He head bangs in the air all day and smashed his head on tables when they get really unmanageable at the end of the day.

His ticks like a cold get worse as he gets more tired and by the end of the evening he is banging his head hard into hard surfaces to get a release from the Tourettes.

He is with the best Tourettes doctor in Toronto apparently. His doctor is going to be informed of this progress and our desire to get him off the strong anti psychotics that do not seem to be able to control his Tourettes (and which can put some people in a permanent coma).

All of this is new.

His doctor does prescribe cannabis for his older patients, but not for someone so young.

We feel that cannabis will not hurt his developing brain as much as head banging all day long and smashing his head into hard surfaces.

Bottom line: when you see what cannabis can do at that level your risk aversion to paying these valuation prices diminishes.
