Recently Home Capital Group Collapsed. This was a Mortgage Lender in Canada. In the spring of 2007 New Century a US subprime lender collapsed and ushered in the start of the great recession and financial crisis. This could be the first shoe to drop in Canada.
Home Capital was on our short portfolio list .  We have now spotted 5 Canadian Housing Plays for the next potential BIG short in the Canadian home market.  I discuss the overvaluation in Canadian housing and the bubble like aspects of it in two videos I have enclosed.
