Market Outlook:
The markets are at an inflection point. The U.S. dollar and oil are working against each other and it will be interesting to see the impact of a pullback in oil prices against the real economy. Typically, a pullback of $5 from here to $80 per will add about $1 trillion in global GDP and benefit countries like U.S., India, and Japan etc. that rely heavily on oil imports.
This could also lead to a big run in U.S. retailers this holiday season.
A number of factors will give direction to markets that could lead to a sector rotation- interest rate outlook for the U.S., price of oil, quantitative easing measures in Europe and GDP numbers on the back of a pullback in oil for exporters like Canada, Russia and importers like Germany, India, China and the U.S.
