The Proposed Project
Aurora Liquefied Natural Gas Limited is proposing the construction, operation, and decommissioning of a liquefied natural gas (LNG) facility and marine terminal at one of two alternative locations— Digby Island or Grassy Point— in the Prince Rupert area of British Columbia.
As proposed, the project would include a natural gas receiving and LNG production facility with a capacity of up to 24 million tonnes of LNG per year, a marine terminal, and supporting infrastructure and facilities. The project is expected to operate for a minimum of 25 years.
