OceanaGold wins “outperform” rating and target 50% up on trading price

OceanaGold Corp. (TSE:OGC) (ASX:OGC) has won a rating of outperform and a target price well above that at which it is currently trading in initial coverage from Stonecap Securities. The Melbourne-based intermediate gold producer, which has mines in New Zealand and the Philippines, won the rating -- and the target of $2.30 per share, which would amount to a bump of almost 50 per cent -- in a note released Friday, partially in recognition of its plans to expand its global footprint.
