A controversial proposal to build a 15-storey super brothel and entertainment complex opposite Sky City casino in Auckland, comes before independent commissioners for Resource Consent Hearing today.

The complex to be built on the site of the old Palace Hotel in Victoria Street, includes two floors of brothels, a number of restaurants, offices, entertainment floors and a roof top bar.

The planner, Jennifer Valentine, is recommending consent be give to the application subject to certain conditions.
