In my oppinion it is not possible for an individual to know the truth. All governments lie to protect thier interests including ours. Most of what we see in the media is propoganda of some kind. I am skeptical about everything.

I think the govt's main job is to convince us that they're actually in control, when that's clearly not the case. It's like that scene in Apocalypse Now where Capt. Willard asks the soldier at the fire base "who's in charge here?" and the guy says, "ain't you?'
