Doug Casey has come up with some innovative ideas which have produced past winners. (Don't ask me to name them).

I wouldn't argue with that - he had to do something to get where he is. Speaking of that, where is he? I don't think he does much work on the letter(s) these days. Isn't that more the job of his underlings? For some insight into that go to http://incakolanews.blogspot.ca and plug their names into the search engine.

The biggest laugh I get from Casey is his 'sovereign man" schtick. As if any of his subs are capable of following his lead. Best they can do when the SHTF is hop in the Winnebago, drive down to Cabo and hope the dust settles up north before the money runs out.

Anyway, not to be singling out old Casey. Most of the big name letter writers are equally contemptible. He's just the easiest target is all.
