Doug Casey is the Tony Robbins of the investing world. As such, he follows the basic rule:
Tell 'em what they want to hear, whilst selling them what they think they need.
It's a ready-made market, and he's been very sucessful at tapping into it, but the question you need to ask is this: If he's so good at what he does, then why the need to share? A basic rule of investing is to know something the herd doesn't. Well, Casey's got one of the biggest herds out there, so where's the edge? What's the advantage to YOU the investor in being part of his herd?
