I have been expecting a substantial correction in the Canadian real estate market eventually but when is the question.

The other thing is that there is no good way to short Canadian residential real estate.

The banks are not exposed to it the CMHC is and thus the tax payers.

I am guessing the C$ will take a hit because of the government backing so probably long gold is some protection.

Any thoughts?
