The new Canadian $50.00 bills are very thin and seem to be somewhat magnetized.
A customer today ahead of us gave the cashier a new $50.00 bill to pay for his groceries. As the cashier was putting the bill away she noticed that two were stuck together and promptly returned one back to the grateful customer.
He said that was the second time that had happened to him. He said when he got home from shopping yesterday he noticed he was $50.00 short and couldn’t figure out why.
Now he realizes it was in a Drug Store yesterday while paying for merchandise.
So Beware of these new $50.00 bills. It might be best to separate them with other denominations to keep them from sticking together in your wallets.
