No one of Paul's finest moments ... it is difficult to address one issue (the fed's role in money creation) without looking at the overall comprehensive issue. The fed is an accomplice to what has clearly become a system whereby the interest of poorly or unregulated bankers/financial system is to be supported by the state ad infinitum. The judicial system has been rendered ineffectual through a bureacracy of overly complex regulation/bills and amendments that allowing for convolution of due process.
IMO What Paul wants more than the gold standard or the abolition of the fed is to groom the society into a people who are accountable for their actions, where intelligent effort is rewarded and foolish or corrupts effort or lack of effort ceases to be rewarded.
The underlying values of the nation have been eroded and nothing demonstrates that better than the bills being passed in direct violation of the country's constitutional values.
Ultimately all effort is futile since those who control the system of confusion have been very successful in protecting their ability to remain in control and continue through public policy to transfer the wealth of what was once the highest per capita wealth levels on mass into their own pockets.
The US decline is unavoidable and that is for the people who built the country not for the masters who have destroyed the land of opportunity.
