It is unusual for me to not agree with Mr. Sinclairs assessment, although I do agree there is no real monetary leadership. (interesting he is suggesting it maybe time to start bailing out")

As far as I can tell it appears the latest move will not inject more paper into the system". It does seem to address the over demand for the "safe haven" short term US T-bills and under demand (no surprise given the LT is catastrophic for the US$) for long term T-bills by making an artificial market (the feds demand) for them.

Just postponing the inevitable hoping a magic elixir will solve the crisis ... it will it always has ... its called war ...

If I was the parent of young children in the USA, I'd be looking for ways to establish their inability to serve in the miltary because conscription will be on its way.

The first two world wars will be much the same as the first great depression ... a warm up for the really big one that will forever change humanity ... it may be time to once again re read The Chrysalids it just may shed some light onto what society will be like ... or maybe watch Soylent Green, with Chuck Heston (also the great Edward G. Robinson's last film).
