I can see why Kinross would agree but I think any new exploration in Ecuador is done for good with an agreement like this.

I agree, and so does our old pal Otto. This thing has more strings attached than a dying spider and it's STILL not finalized. So glad I dumped my K shares as soon as they cleared. I actually made some of it back trading the warrants if you can believe it.

So now Colombia gets the benefit that would have accrued to Ecuador. Strange world, ain't it?
