I saw the Dollar Vigilante Reports presentation at the Toronto Resource Investment Conference last month. For me it was mostly a review and although I do agree with most of what he had to say. He was probably the most pessimistic presenter at the show except for possibly Eric Sprott. What I found most interesting is the audience reaction. For the most part they still seem very skeptical.

I get the feeling that most people still have a great deal of misplaced faith in government. This may be because the Canadian economy is doing relatively well and we have not gone as far down the rabbit whole as the US yet.

I have been skeptical of the current 99%er rallies because they do not seem to have a list of objectives yet and because their anger although justified seems to be mostly misdirected.

Time will tell. I will keep an open mind.
