Uranium is and will be on sale but i am waiting till the news of what is really happening hits the airwaves. They seem to be a day or 2 behind reporting the real time problems. They were still saying yesterday all was well.

We've probably seen the worst of it, and yes it's bad, but not as bad as it could be. The plant's a write-off and at least one reactor will have to be encased, but widespread heavy contamination is unlikely at this point. The local area - well that's a different story, but it's not like it will shut down business - the tsunami already took care of that.

The larger issue is caring for the huge number of displaced people. Some will have family they can turn to, others will have to be relocated. The costs will be huge, the impact on Japan's economy likewise, but they will recover. Right now, caring for the victims should be our top priority, so I hope everyone here has made a generous donation to the Red Cross.
