I went down to the Toronto Conference Center on Monday To listen to the Government representatives from Ecuador talk about future mining.They said Kinross should have their agreement with the Government by the end of April.Also by June the doors will be open for new Exploration.Ecuador is going to be really strict on keeping the enviroment healthy with any of the contracts.

Talked to the representatives at the Kinross booth & they were pretty up on the future of Kinross.The 2 people I talked to not only owned shares but were actively buying more.Apparently Redback is turning out really well.They are pleased with how it is going in Ecuador.I asked about the hedging in Russia with the Bema deal.There was a hedge put on till sometime in 2012.Just part of the deal.There is no other hedging anywhere else.

Talked to the guys at the DMM boothe & they said things are going a lot better than a year ago.Apparently a year ago there was talk of not allowing mining at all in Ecuador.They did feel like they went through alot but going forward now & they should have their contracts in a couple of months the future looks much brighter.

Still don't know what to do with my warrants.

Just thought I would write this for the ones that might still be holding shares in Ecuador.
