We may not make much money, but we sure have a lot of fun!
Oh, that's convenient. You can't prove it because the conspiracy controls anyone who might be able to? Well then it must be true. Of course the conspiracy doesn't control GATA, right? They're the lone exception here.
Thank you it is equally convenient to announce there is no conspiracy because no one has proven it ... exactly why I wrote what I did.
The burden of proof lies with the claimant. Same principle as in science and law.
He has made a definitive conclusion which can not be proven
I don't see that at all. All I see is him expressing an opinion. You don't have to precede every remark with "IMO" for people to understand that.
You'd be hard pressed to find anyone in the investment world who hasn't had dealings with some form of violation
So that makes it OK? No one I deal with has any violations, and I didn't have to look that hard. It's one of my basic criteria for who to trust, BTW.
I do not condemn people for the company they keep ... if you are so inclined to the bible ... iJesus hung aorund tax collectors and prostitutes yet ... believe him or not ... people seemed to be able to overlook that ... he has quite a following.
Yes he does, which just goes to show you that most people prefer myths to reality. In a way, you make my case. The gold suppression myth has a lot of followers, too. So then I should accept it too as an article of faith?
How about dealing with the position limit facts rather than resorting character assinations to prove a point?
Character assassination? You mean like this?
"Shedlock is either a myopic memeber of the sheople or a paid defender of the manipulators."
AFAIC, Christian and Shedlock have made my case. They don't have to prove anything since they're not the ones making the claim. As in Law and Science, the burden lies with the claimant. All the respondent has to do is cast reasonable doubt, and IMO they've done so.
I've had this same argument with Christian fundamentalists BTW, and they always stonewall you on this point. They cite the bible as their "proof" you guys cite GATA, but it amounts to the same thing.
