Two companies I have been watching fo some time seem well positioned for short selling.
They both appeared over valued by the market given they have both had recent financing at prices much lower than market prices.
Crosshairs Exploration CXX, recently did a 4-1 share consolidation ... market price at the time ofthe announcement was in the low/mid .20s .... financing took place at 1.00 per share and .70 for a broker's warrant
Ryan Gold RYG previously Valdez gold did a 3.5-1 share consolidation and financing (Osisko) at .875 with a warrant for 1.15.
Current share prices CXX 2.60 RYG 2.27.
WHY ARE THESE STOCKS SO HIGHLY VALUED BY THE MARKET?
Presumably the smart money are the recent investors ... the company's managment either tremendously undervalued their assets ( a bad sign), were cash desperate (a bad sign), are providing cheap financing to "friends" of the company (a bad sign).
OR
The market is being irrational and these are good short candidates ...Do your own DD and if you can think of a reason I shouldn't be shorting these companies ... please let me know.
