We may not make much money, but we sure have a lot of fun!
I have to agree with you
and as I mentioned before, China will emerge from this mess light years ahead of the U.S.
I never thought I would be hearing myself say it
but the political structure in the U.S. vs China is no contest
China sits down, makes a 5 year plan, and gets on with it
The U.S. sits down, divides the room into two, and starts throwing bricks at each other
when they do arrive at some watered down version agreeable to everyone
then it's pork barrel time
a $2.50 hammer becomes $200 to the taxpayer
but they're not there to represent the interest of the everyday voter
they're there to make sure the people that financed their campaigns get a piece of the pie
they are there to make sure they get re-elected
and they are there to make sure the opposite party doesn't get anything positive accomplished
how far does a country get
when 1/2 the country is on the gas pedal and the other 1/2 is on the brake pedal
and when there's an election every 2 years
OK now you take the brake, I'll take the gas
what a waste of humanity
The U.S. had the opportunity to be the leaders in progress of technology, trade, humanitarian aid
instead they must keep their only remaining industry busy...defense
and I use the label 'defense' loosely
I have absolutely nothing against the average american
They are great people
But somewhere along the line, their governement built a road to no where
People need their leadership to lead them
And these days their leadership just lead them into the next war
Don't get me started on the corruption
I think electing Obama was like putting a baby in a cage of tigers
Kinda cute for a second or two
