Not sure smoking T-bills would give the citizens the same enjoyment and without that addiction China will continue to wean themselves of US $'s.

The US can insist other countries wishing to trade with them do so in US's, and China can buy from other countries and pay in US $'s since there will remain some demand in any case. They can also buy assets in other countries and are doing so using the US $'s they now have.

As the article indicates China will not be pushed around militarily this time and I'm sure the european Neighbours to the west, Russia will work more closely with them then the US.

We are entering an era where US hegemony will be challenged increasingly and geo political tensions will continue to increase ... on a personal level, I feel optimistic about the future since I have taken the steps to protect my loved ones against economic collapse. If there is no collapse we have excess, if there is collapse which I believe is on the agenda ... I don't like the prospects for the masses given the incredible need to depopulate the world sooner rather than later.
