Out here beyond the Rockies I think we may be a little less perturbed by the goings on to the south . Also those yankees directly to the south of us have a more "canadian" attitude to the rest of the US. The Cascadia proposal ( a union of Washington Oregon and British Columbia) still gets dusted off quite regularly.
