I know this may seem off topic on a business forum but this is more then a mob story it´s about a war going on at the very door of the US border .

I maybe wrong about this ´cause I don´t have the real numbers at hand but it seems to be worst then Afghanistan and Pakistan put together , 26,000 victims over the last three and a half years !!! Most of them civilians . Meanwhile the governement at all levels is involved , along with the army and police authorities . It staggers my mind .

It´s well known that most weapons to perpetrate those crimes come from the US ! Woman in the Ciudad Juarez region are among most of the victims , being intimidated , raped , tortured and murdered , for more then 10 years now . ´Cause not only is there a drug war going on , but also a war against labor trying to get organised to improve their working conditions . And the industry of violence also works for corrupt and gredy business and industry leaders as a higher hand .

In comparison in war torned Afghanistan , an attack made 5 victims yesterday , while there was 21 in Ciudad Juarez .

I don´t mean to minimise what´s happening in Afghanistan or Pakistan but to put things in perspective .

I don´t know either what are the answers to stop this grand scale folly , but i believe it starts with a growing awareness of the problem , that´s what this post is about .
