Speaking for myself as there is nothing I can do to change what happens in that part of the world I prefer to dwell more on the likely ramifications of this.

It is hard to say but I doubt it means a safer more economically stable world. Iran has very advanced missiles and defense systems from Russia and China and could close the Strait of Hormuz effectively cutting off a large part of the world oil supply.

Just another factor to throw in the economic equation when we are looking to make decisions on how to best protect ourselves.
