Makes a lot of sense when you consider that:
It's in Canada - mining friendly, especially Que & Ont.
The infrastructure is already in place, so is the work force.
Exploration technology has improved
Price of gold is much higher meaning lower grades can be mined profitably.

A basket, say 5 or 6 of these guys seems like a better bet than following Casey and his pals into Colombia, which to me looks like the next Ecuador just sitting there waiting to blindside you - eg Ventana.
