With national, province/state and municipal governments running deficits and or starting to cut back service this article provides a clear picture of the things that will change, services eliminated while taxes will not. Some of these things are scary, some of these things I applaud ... those who have been on the free ride train for a long time are going to be bitter. Smart municipalities will start the process sooner rather than later to reduce the hit on policing and fire fighting services. People would do well to start really thinkning about "real" needs and sending that message for community priorities
