I'll go out on a limb here and say this blows up in FOX's face. Why? Because anyone old enough to care came up through the 60's and is already imbued with Marxist sentiment, if not actual thought. So, it won't seem strange to them at all - they were there. Anyone younger than that simply doesn't care. It could be Groucho, Chico, any one of the Marx Bros. They wouldn't know the difference.

The USA is having it's Trudeaumania period, that's all. You couldn't bait Trudeau with this stuff (he wore it on his sleeve, or lapel to be more accurate) and you can't bait Obama either. Too smart for that. He'll turn it to his advantage very easily because the basic sentiments of Marxism are already deeply rooted in American culture. Fox is just handing him an opportunity to tap into it.
