We may not make much money, but we sure have a lot of fun!
Quite the interchange between these two yet again (around the 8:30 mark on SB). Santelli continues to expose the spin doctors and their ongoing interpretation of every piece of data being either an anomaly or supporting a great recovery.
The lies are getting bigger and more desperate by the cheerleaders.
At about 8:50 the attacks occurred on Ron Paul by Senator Gregg Judd .... Judd's position is that the private institution the FED should be subject to audit, oversight inspection by the people's elected officials.
For what it is worth the constitution says congress is responsible for monetary policy and when the fed was instituted that did not change. So their oversight would appear to be constitutional.
Of course there have been leaders more than happy to ignore the constitution ... they thought holding blacks as slaves was OK. They ensured that woman were not equal citizens etc until they were held accountable by the supreme court.
Clearly the right of the citizens and congress to know what those controlling money should be settled and settled quickly ... let those who are experts in constitutional interpret who is right.
Common sense which of course has nothing to do with the white house or capitol hill makes it pretty clear ... people who pay 40+ % of their earnings to government should know what the body that affects the value of those dollars are doing.
The concern about the indepency of the fed being affected by the politics of congress is already clearly demonstrated by those who wish to keep their secrets buried.
