TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Dec. 14, 2009) - Lake Shore Gold Corp. (TSX:LSG) ("Lake Shore Gold" or the "Company") today announced that the Company is being added to the S&P/TSX Composite Index (the "Composite") effective at the market open on Monday, December 21, 2009.

The Composite is the headline index and the principal broad market measure for the Canadian equity markets.
