Congratulations on a job well done! Canadian citizens will benefit from the decision to allow Globalive the opportunity to provide additional competition in the telecommunications/wireless industry to the benefit of Canadian citizens. I am sure you are aware of the outrageous price levels for services in Canada compared to far less developed countries. Big industry especially in this industry is responsible for excessive regard for thir own self interest and this is plenty of evidence cause by the financial services industry supporting that.

It is a courageous move by a minister and government to overturn bad decisions made by our bureaucracy. I commend you and the PM for this move. It is my opinion that the CRTC has not been serving the interests of the country especially in allowing the sale of such a large quantity of valuable spectrum by LOOK communications to Inukshuk (a BCE/Rogers jv). In my opinion you would do well to also review this decision it can not be in the interest of competition and the consumers of Canada. The difference in value between that recently auctioned off by the government an that sold by LOOK speaks to a serious conflict of investor and public interest. I beseech you to also review this.

Your recent action has given me reason to once again consider the Conservative party in the next election despite being very disappointed by many decision and policies in recent times.
