Message: US Health System heading toward Socialized Medicine?

I recently read or heard that health costs in the US amounted to 16% of GDP and was expected to grow in the next few years as the population was getting older , seems to me there must be some major glitches in the system right now and the only winners are the few who can afford follproof insurance policy and of course the doctors and administrators along with insurance companies .

There are 30 million people uncovered the equivalent of the whole Canadian population !

The only big winners are those lobbying with hundreds of million dollars the elected body .

I think lobbying is the biggest political scam that exists it circumvates the basic principal of democracy when a few wealthy people have the right to buy elected people and have them support their private interest over the benefit of a whole nation . I don't know how anyone can see it as anything else then legalised corruption .

Even with the so call glitches of the Canadian health system the healthcare program in Canada gives acces to everyone and even to some foreigners sometimes crossing the southern boarders and taking advantage of it for free .

Indeed people from around the world come here to give birth or get cured for free with the help of friends or relatives , yet at the end of the day our health care system costs less then in the US relatively to GDP !!!

Actualy the US health care system is one of the most expensive in the world if not the most expensive and when people are refused treatments for unfair insurance policies it sounds like major glitches to me .

I honestly believe you'd be much better off with a health care program like ours and it would also leave more money into most people's pocket at the end of the year. Sure our system needs improvement and even after doing so it would still need improvement further down the road that's the nature of life .

Meanwhile the US has a full load on it's plate the next couple of years will be rough especialy for the unemployed and the young ones looking for work . All that points out towards more criminality more violence more people living in poverty , shelterless , and more sickness .

Good luck to them .
