Searching 'Asian Carp Invasion ' on Google put me through to some videos that depict what has happened to the Mississippi river and some of their lakes from these massive fish. There is a warning that they like cold water and are headed up the Mississippi. These Carp being bottom feeders don't just eat the greenery but actually totally tear up the plants and devour it all.
If your at all interested in fishing this is a good site to watch.
Apparently Canada is aware of these fish and their migration to the North but I have not heard how they can prevent them from invading the Great Lakes as well as our small lakes..
.....a threat to the Geat Lakes if something isn't done soon
