i have followed wrn since the days it was called western silver. it's a copper explorer that was called western copper until it found the huge penasquito silver-gold-everything else polymetallic deposit in mexico. it quickly changed its name to western silver, and then sold penasquito to glamis. it then changed its name back to western copper, and is again developing copper projects, notably in the yukon.

last year the stock crashed along with everything else, down to about 20 cents, but it has rallied sharply and is up over $1.30 now. it has been very strong in the past month, and now the story is that the chinese have come to visit the company's casino project. since the chinese have shown interest in accumulating copper, there is speculation that they may buy casino or even the entire company:
