I believe things will go faster for the adaptation of a new world reserve currency wether through SDR or from the alliances being forged through BRIC and maybe some other major currencies including the US dollar of course .

Some have said this crisis will affect the US for a decade , i share this view and not only the US but also the world economy and politics , and in various ways .

That's why i think those changes described in the post will occur as the crisis unfolds over the next decade and progressively as the US dollar will lose strenght and as other currencies will gain mostly in asia but also in south america and in the middle east thank's to the power of commodities and the growth of domestic demand in China as well as in India .

As for the japanese guys the sheer amount of bonds suggest there is more to this tthen meets the eyes . We know if some government were involved they easily could have used their diplomatic privileges to enter the country without troubles instead of acting illicitly . And if it was the mafia or any other mobsters either the $US 134 Billion is part of a broader affair or else they would have split it as they do with drugs and enter the country from different locations .

But why go to Switzerland ? Is it relevant that those guys are Japanese ? It's probably more relevant to know what else they do for a living when not carrying this type of "product " , and where are the bonds going now ??? . There is no way half a billion dollars bond or one Billion dollars bond can be sold by just " anybody " on any market the people who were to receive them have some serious credentials fo sure wether or not they are false and the future customers if there were some must be notorious people , not the type you can easily screw up without serious repurcussions . I tend to believe those are real bonds , some story will come out eventualy but as for the truth ...
