I found it very informative , but we can hope that some of the longer view analysis will come to change as technology will improve over the longer term and make the electric car market ( including batteries ) more cost efficient and reduce it's impact on environment .

It's obvious the author knows those markets from his credential as well as from the depth of his analysis but 2030 is a long way from here .

I think Mr. Petersen warned us about the infringment of used batteries on the environment in a previous post ,unless i mix him up with someone else , that's why i believe in the long term a lot of efforts will be done ( hopefully ) to improve on the technology .

It's a new dawn for vehicles that's about to rise and huge amounts of money will be poured into that industry over the next decades .

We can appreciate Mr. Petersen's views and expertise notwhithstanding his interest in some of the companies mentioned .
