I was thinking the same. It is almost like they are doing it on purpose.

Canada could benefit from this.

We are far from a free enterprise bastion but in comparison we may start to look attractive if our politicians can resist the urge to fix things here.

There are some encouraging signs though.

The federal government is lowering the corporate tax rates and Alberta is removing the ill conceived oil/gas royalties they added last year.
