while mr. schoon had a lot of unflattering things to say about lawrence summers, and deservedly so, he is not the incoming secretary of the treasury. summers was treasury secretary back in the clinton administration. timothy geithner (another clinton partisan) will be the new secretary of the treasury. summers is a member of the economic transition team. i'm not sure that it makes much difference, but the announcement was made weeks ago, and mr. schoon should know that by now.
