The current dividends on some of the shippers are mind boggling. For example, Paragon (PRGN) yields 38%.

Probably the safest ones are the ones with no, or minimal debt. I kind of like Nordic American Tankers (NAT). They have no debt and they claim the dividend is safe.

Probably the best analyst in the sector is Natasha Boyden from Cantor Fitzgerald.
