Teck's takeover of Fording Coal has cost the company Billions in market Cap and burned up a huge chunk of cash they could have used to purchase many stocks at bargain basement prices...
Market Cap is now less then Kinross....and many others...see Clavis's posting of World's top 100 Mining Companies...
