We may not make much money, but we sure have a lot of fun!
Hi Guys,
I'm definitely gulity of lurking. I must admit I'm relatively fully invested. I'm glad we have kept a good crew over from the Revolt site though.
Some things I'm currently doing are selling way out of the money puts on a couple of Canadian banks.
Example:
I sold CIBC Nov. $38 puts on Monday for $1.03 each.
I sold National Bank Jan $40 puts last week and jot $3.45 each.
My current portfolio is the following:
Kinross - K on Toronto and KGC on NYSE,
Barrick - ABX in NY, (Sold Jan 55 Covered call on half)
Rubicon - RMX in Toronto,
Noront - NOT on Toronto Venture
MacDonald Mines - BMK on Toronto Venture
Lloyds Bank ADR - LYG in New York
Royal Bank of Scotland ADR - RBS in New York
Barclays ADR - BCS in Toronto
Bank of montreal - BMO in Toronto (sold $60. covered calls on half)
Covidien - COV on NYSE (Sold Jan $60 covered calls on it all
Tim Hortons - THI on Toronto (Sold Jan $38 covered calls on it all)
Kraft - KFT on NYSE (Sold $32.00 dec covered calls on it)
Pfizer - PFE on NYSE (sold $22.50 covered calls on it all)
Diploma PLC - DPLM on London
Yellow Pages - YLO-UN on Toronto
Valero Energy - VLO on NYSE (sold covered calls on it)
Horizones Betapo NGas bull - HNU on Toronto
Oleary Global Equity -OGE on Toronto
Yesterday I bought the Oleary Global Infrastructure fund. It will start trading next week and I received a full warrant for each unit.
I also have sold quite a few puts on these oils but I did it in Sept. before the real down turn. They were way out of the money then but I will likely have to move them forward as I'm under water on these.
Husky energy - HSE on Toronto
Petrocanada - PCA on Toronto
Oilexco - OIL on Toronto
I'm happy to discuss any of these if any one has interest in any of them. Some of these I've had for a while.
Best regards
